Love, energy & healing in the home…and then some :)

Happy Monday.

I hope everyone is getting back into the swing of things with school and schedules. Best of luck to all the families out there whose schedules are more in flux than ever. Those with kids are in tryouts for sports and waiting on teams, assignments and fall schedules. I feel your pain 🙂

Had some great guests, podcasts and shoots this week. Let’s get to it!

Living Your Life w Lianne Laing Podcast:

There are certain people you meet whose energy is beyond contagious and who make the world a better place. When I first met Patricia Lohan, I was drawn in by her Irish accent her vibrant colorful wardrobe and her incredibly positive demeanour. I had the right vibe, the law of attraction works. In meeting Patricia, I would get my first introduction to the world of energy healing, all things energy related: including feng shui. Patricia is a motivational speaker, the creator of Fen Shui Mastery and the author of The Happy Home, A guide to creating A Happy Healthy, Wealthy Life…

Patricia has helped thousands of people across the globe embrace feng shui and create lasting changes in their homes, lives, and businesses. She is a feng shui expert, a healer, and a passionate female entrepreneur. As well, she helps detox your business, unstick your beliefs and declutter your busy mind. Thus allowing you the ability to be in alignment with your dreams. So, think beyond rearranging your furniture, I intend to go much deeper than that!

For all you singles out there looking for love, she touches on how to open up your home and your mindset to inviting love into your world. As well, those of you looking to make their relationships better, she offers some great tips for tossing the negative energy out of the home. She had wonderful inspiring stories to share.

More on Living Your Life w Lianne Laing

As for the regular “Living Your Life w Lianne Laing” Thursday release, the second podcast is focused on kids, education and thriving in the system.

Coping mechanisms: As children, we tend to develop our own strategies to cope with certain situations and circumstances. This is the case even though we don’t quite know we are doing it at the time. As a result, these strategies, good and bad, flow in and out of our lives…

As the school year gets into full gear, there are many stressors affecting our children. In addition to the normal trials and tribulations of adolescence, we throw in stigmas like ADD, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning disorders, and autism spectrums. As well, we then pile on anxiety, depression, bullying, identity issues and you just want to bubble wrap your kids and protect them from harsh realities.

Joining us today is Everett Lawrence Adams a clinical and educational psychologist. EL as he is known, is looking to share ideas, philosophies and methods he is using to help our youth thrive from the most difficult of situations. Furthermore, he uses methods like mental health mood and music.

Clothing Update!

I have been incredibly fortunate through my years working in television to have great access to clothes 🙂
Many of you have seen my color coded closet. I love my colours! So it was easy for me to fall in love with the store “Colori”.

The Montreal based company and I have teamed up for quite a few outfits over the years and its great to continue the relationship. The plaid blazer/jacket in this picture, which is actually almost knee length, is part of their new fall collection and it comes in a variety of colours. Furthermore, the yellow jacket, which I also have in white, and the jeans are also beyond comfortable and soft. While I usually head into Montreal to shop in person, there is one in Gatineau at the Promenade. If you shop the store online be sure to use the promotion code LIANNE15 for a 15% discount. Happy Shopping! http://www.colori.ca

Awaken A Better You Wellness Cruise

Finally, the Awaken A Better You Wellness Cruise is now just a month away. I have some great news in case some of you are last minute planners or have been wondering how to finance a trip like this. Expedia just launched a new 12 month payment plan which gives you the option right now to take the trip and pay later 🙂

Even more, I wish I could have provided this kind of access and promotion earlier. However, it just became available late last week. I wanted to pass on the information in case it gets some of you who had wished to go, but with a bit more financial ease. For more information you can head to http://www.signaturecruises.ca

Have a great week everyone. See you back here next week!
Much Love,
Lianne xo
